East Academy Welcome to East Academy - home of the Eagles! We are an K-8 tuition-free, public charter school. Eagles Take Flight at East Academy!

We serve the South Collinwood community with a well-rounded, accredited academic program and exceptional student services. Academic Progress in ELA and Math improved by 22 points in the 2021-22 school year and our expanded leadership team reduced student suspensions by 60 percent! We offer a full-day Early K for students turning five before Jan 1st. Students benefit from STEM programs, coding, deb

ate team, student council, choir, clubs (theater, art, and drumming), competitive sports (basketball, baseball, cheerleading, volleyball, dance, pep squad and football) and Social Emotional Learning. Hands-On Learning. Real Skills. Bright Futures.

Our 7th & 8th grade girls had an amazing time participating in a CTE experience with , where they learned the art of balloon décor and cake decorating from start to finish!

From assembly to breakdown, our scholars explored the behind-the-scenes work that goes into running a successful creative business. This experience opened their eyes to how entrepreneurship and creativity can turn passions into careers.

At East Academy, we are proud supporters of CTE opportunities that expose our students to real-world skills and career pathways early.

Special shoutout to for pouring into our girls teaching them entrepreneurship, creativity, and showing them what’s possible when talent meets opportunity.
