In the early morning hours of August 11, 2026, C Shift responded to an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking emergency. In the face of challenging circumstances, these firefighters demonstrated extraordinary professionalism, compassion, strength, and dedication while serving our community.

Their response is a powerful reminder of the commitment our firefighters make each day to answer the call and be there for our community when they are needed most.

We are incredibly grateful for their courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the City of Cleveland.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who answered tragedy with extraordinary bravery and compassion.

As we mark 25 years since that day, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.

May we continue to honor their memory through service, kindness, and unity.

Payroll requires accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and a whole lot of responsibility. From making sure employees are paid accurately and on time to keeping up with records, deductions, and deadlines, it’s an essential part of supporting our City team.

We’re proud to share that Austin Memorial Library has once again received accreditation from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission!

Accreditation reflects the work that happens all year long to ensure our library continues meeting state standards and providing quality library services to the Cleveland community.

A huge thank you to Library Director Mary Cohn and our entire library staff for all of their hard work—not only completing the annual report and accreditation process, but in everything they do throughout the year to keep our library serving, growing, and welcoming our community. ❤️
