Five years strong with the Blue Crew! 💙✨

We are proud to share that Cleveland City Schools’ SSC custodial team was recently featured in the SSC Services for Education newsletter, recognizing the start of summer clean season and celebrating five years of partnership with our district.

Known as the “Blue Crew,” this hardworking team is already getting to work across our schools, preparing clean, welcoming spaces for students and staff to return in the fall.

We are grateful for the care, teamwork, and pride they bring to Cleveland City Schools each day. Congratulations to the Blue Crew on this well deserved recognition!

Mr. Nat Akiona has been named the next principal of D. P. Yates Primary, and Mrs. Emily R***r has been named the new principal of Cleveland Middle School.

Since 2003, Mrs. Bishop has served CCS as a teacher, instructional coach, instructional specialist, assistant principal, and principal. Her heart for students, staff, and families has made a lasting impact across our district.

Thank you to the Cleveland Daily Banner for sharing the story of Cleveland City Schools’ ambulance donation to Bradley County EMS.

During EMS Week, this story feels especially meaningful. We are grateful this grant funded resource can continue serving our community and supporting the lifesaving work of our local EMS professionals.

At their Monday, May 18 meeting, the Bradley County Commissioners welcomed the donation of an ambulance to the county’s Emergency Medical Service (EMS) by the Cleveland City Schools.

Today we had the joy of celebrating some of the people who keep Cleveland City Schools moving every day.

A big thank you to our Maintenance Team and Bus Drivers for the care, dedication, and hard work they pour into our schools, students, and staff. We are also grateful to Eggs Up Grill - Cleveland for providing breakfast and to Cleveland Middle School for hosting this special time of appreciation.

We appreciate all you do for CCS! 💙
