Cancer has touched too many people we know and love — teammates, families, teachers, and neighbors. That’s why the Max Hayes Girls Volleyball Team is stepping onto the court with a mission bigger than the game. On September 23, 2026, at Spike Out Cancer, we’re playing for every survivor who inspires us, for every loved one we’ve lost, and for everyone still fighting.
By joining forces with the American Cancer Society, we’re turning our strength, our teamwork, and our spirit into something that truly matters. Every dollar we raise fuels groundbreaking research, provides vital information to people facing cancer, and helps fund free rides to treatment and free lodging when care is far from home. These aren’t just services — their lifelines.
For us, this isn’t just a fundraiser. It’s personal. It’s for the moms who sat in the stands through chemo. It’s for the classmates who missed school for treatment. It’s for the families who needed hope and found it because someone cared enough to give.
When we step onto the court, we’re not just serving volleyballs — we’re serving our community. We’re serving hope. And we’re determined to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
