Citizens for Saybrook Park

Citizens for Saybrook Park Promote the creation of a new green space park at the site of the old Fuchs Mizrachi School in University Heights, OH.

Join the University Heights grassroots movement to promote the creation of a new green space park at the site of the old Fuchs Mizrachi (formerly Northwood Elementary) School. This is a historic opportunity for the City of University Heights to preserve this space for everyone to enjoy. The property is 6.8 acres in size, and is located between Saybrook and Fenwick Roads. The initial plan is to sim

ply remove the old school building and replace it with an open space design. You can show your support by collaborating at the City Park Committee meetings or here on FaceBook. You can also contact Mayor Susan Infeld or the Park Committee Chairman Brett Teacher directly. The American Planning Association says: “Parks provide intrinsic environmental, aesthetic, and recreation benefits to our cities. They are also a source of positive economic benefits. They enhance property values, increase municipal revenue, bring in homebuyers and workers, and attract retirees.”
