Citizens Leadership Academy is a new and innovative charter school that is honored to be part of the Citizens Academy “family” as its middle school. CLA will continue Citizens Academy’s highly successful, results-driven academic preparation for Ohio Academic Assessments and also continue the Citizens Academy focus on character development and a strong school culture of high expectations and no exc
uses. The school focuses on three main principles; community, respect, and responsibility. CLA also prides itself on its one-to-one laptop program, meaning that each student has his or her own laptop. Our school community opened its doors in August 2011 with 97 sixth graders and is now fully enrolled with grades 6-8.
