Let’s all take a minute to wish our President & CEO a very HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY! 🥳

If you know her, you know she never stops. Her brain is constantly working in the background - thinking about how we can make our events bigger and better, how we can do more for our businesses, what new and exciting things we can bring to our community, and about a million other things at any given time.

And somehow, on top of everything she does for the Chamber, she still manages to be an incredible mom, wife, daughter, and friend.

We are so thankful for everything she pours into our Chamber and our community, but even more thankful for the person she is. She truly gives so much of herself to the people around her, and we are lucky to have her leading the way.

Happy 40th Birthday! We hope you feel celebrated today because you deserve it! 🖤

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Andy Dill. He was a big part of our Chamber several years ago and we are thankful for his guidance and leadership during that time.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Andy Dill, who served as President of our Chamber from 2003 to 2013, during the years when we were known as the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County.

For a decade, Andy helped lead the Chamber and strengthen its role as a convener and advocate for the East Montgomery County community. He believed deeply in bringing businesses, community leaders, elected officials, and residents together for the good of the area we all call home.

Andy once described the role of a chamber in words that still resonate with us today:

“The chamber of commerce is the golden thread that ties the community together.”

Those words are especially meaningful as we reflect on Andy’s life and the important role he played in the history of the organization that is now the Greater EMC Chamber.

We are grateful for Andy’s leadership, his service, and his commitment to East Montgomery County. His contributions helped lay the foundation upon which our Chamber continues to build today.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Thank you for your service to our Chamber and our community, Andy. Your legacy will not be forgotten.

🪩Teacher of the Year Luncheon 2026 sponsored by Elite Hospital Kingwood✨

We had a wonderful celebration today to honor 14 educators who are changing lives in our local community! We could never say thank you enough for the dedication they each exemplify, but we always want to show our appreciation in any way we can. The teachers received a "Teacher of the Year" backpack sponsored by Austin Bank and a tote bag sponsored by SaRi's Creations, both filled with awesome gifts donated by our members. They also received a commemorative certificate presented by Allie Smart with State Representative Janis Holt's office.

A warm welcome from Jeremy Brynes, CEO of Elite Hospital Kingwood, was given to kick off the luncheon. Catering was provided by Joe’s Italian Restaurant - Cleveland and we got to hear from the Cleveland Independent School District Education CTE Club. Our guest speakers were area superintendents, Dr. Glenn Barnes with Cleveland ISD and Dr. Randal O'Brien with Tarkington ISD.
