Each year West Shore Rotary holds an annual wreath sales fundraiser which helps our club to support the cities we serve, Fairview Park, North Olmstead and WestPark. Our bow tying get together at Puritas Nursery & Garden Center is always a fun evening.

Thank you to the members who participated this year and to Dale Heyink, Puritas Nursery who provides the wreaths and hosts the event.

Happy Holidays to all!

World Polio Day, which is on October 24th every year, is also sometimes referred to as “Purple Pinkie Day”. This is because during National Immunization Days kids in countries all of the world have their pinkies marked with purple ink that lasts for 30 days, to ensure they are not vaccinated more than once.

Thanks to Dunkin's graciousness, West Shore Rotary purchased Purple iced donuts and on Thursday, October 25th members George Newman and Neal Silvester delivered 1 dozen Purple donuts each to Fairview Park and North Olmstead Fire and Police Departments as well as the mayor’s office in both cities. Proceeds will go to the End Polio Now campaign.
