Solomon Family Solutions (SFS) is a grassroots, nonprofit, child & family welfare organization that was founded in September 2015. Our mission was to provide affordable supervised visitation, art therapy, and family mediation services for those in the TN 10th Judicial District and surrounding areas. However, only with the generous help and support of our team members, interns, volunteers, and the

community, we were able to open a second location in February 2016 to provide more access to our services for neighboring rural areas in Southeast TN. Almost 6 years later, we have served thousands of children and parents in Southeast TN, maintained two office locations, expanded services to provide many more resources than when we opened our doors. We are pleased to offer the following professional and affordable services:
Supervised Visitation; Therapeutic Visitation;Safe Exchange;Art Therapy; Music Education; TN Rule 31 Family Mediation; Court Accepted Educational Classes to include - Co-parenting class; Parenting Skills and Child Abuse Prevention Course; Anger Management Course; Adoption Home Studies; and, referral services to our community partners.

Adoption is beautiful! That is why we are dedicated to making adoption home studies affordable for all Tennesseans.

SFS is a licensed child placement agency, and we offer home studies on a sliding scale based upon the family's gross annual income. Total cost of our adoption home studies starts at only $650.

Our deepest condolences for the family and friends of Dr. Carol Berz. She was a champion for family justice and one incredibly inspiring woman. PhD, lawyer, LCSW, family mediator, business woman, and government official. She will be greatly missed in the community.

Dr. Carol Berz, who represented District 6, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday.

Dear Community:

Due to financial hardship, we regret to inform you that we will be closing our satellite office in Athens effective January 15, 2025.

It has truly been an honor to serve the children and families in McMinn and surrounding counties since September 2020.

We will continue to serve the community and provide services at our Cleveland location.
