Northeast Ohio is home to one of the most extensive and diverse theater industries. Theaters throughout the region are doing their part to create inclusive, accommodating theater-going experiences for their deaf and hard-of-hearing guests.

View the list below of the accessibility features available to you.

More than 20 theaters around Northeast Ohio offer hearing accommodations during performances, whether that's through a sound-boosting device, American Sign Language interpreting or captioning technology.

This summer, North Pointe Ballet visited the library to conduct a dance class, meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, and perform a short performance from "The Nutcracker."

Cuyahoga DD Library Facilitator, Grace, also read a book to the attendees.
