As we begin Black History Month we want to make you and your followers aware of a new Facebook group we have created, Ohio Freedom Network. This group's purpose is to bring together organizations and individuals who share the common mission of bringing the stories of the Underground Railroad to our community. We hope this group will be used to promote events which celebrate this history and be a place to make connections.

Thank you to everyone who made 2024 so spectacular for the Ohio Freedom Path! The pinnacle of our year was receiving the honor of being designated as an official Network to Freedom Program by the National Park Service! Looking forward to more walks, programs and adventures in 2025!

Thanks to Cleveland History Days, Canalway Partners and the enthusiastic history lovers who joined us yesterday for an amazing experience of being a part of the annual Cleveland History Days event! We had a great turn out for our tour despite the heat and humidity. A very special note of gratitude to some of the narrators from our app who brought passion and authenticity to our presentation.

Saturday's weather forecast is indicating extreme heat and humidity. Our team has agreed that such temperatures are much too unpleasant and potentially dangerous for us to do the more than 2 mile walk as planned.
