Fire Station 9 Grand Opening is tomorrow! 🚒 White County is proud to celebrate the opening of Fire Station 9, and we invite you to join us. Overflow parking will be available at Mount Yonah Elementary School. A shuttle will run from the school to the new fire station for those parking there.

Fire Station 9 represents a major investment in public safety for the Mount Yonah community and surrounding areas. This project was fully funded through SPLOST, meaning it was completed with no additional property tax burden on residents, and was constructed under the management of Precision United of Cleveland.

The new station will improve fire protection coverage for more than 1,500 structures, help reduce response times, and strengthen emergency services in one of White County’s growing areas. Many property owners may also see benefits through improved fire protection classifications.

As White County continues to grow, Fire Station 9 helps ensure we are prepared to meet the needs of our citizens and visitors now and in the future.
