We got married young, in love, full of dreams, and clearly not knowing exactly what we were signing up for! 😂 48 years later, I guess we figured it out
Some people thought will they make it. Well… SURPRISE! 48 years later, we’re still here! ❤️
Marriage takes effort, dedication, commitment, communication, unconditional love—and, most definitely, PATIENCE! Our 48 year journey has been an incredible adventure filled with milestones, 2 children and 3 grandchildren, We’ve laughed, cried, disagreed, made up, and created countless memories along the way, 48 yrs. of lessons learned, beautiful memories, difficult times, straight lines and crooked ones, mountaintops and valleys. And after 48 years, we’ve learned one very important lesson: sometimes it’s better to say “Yes, dear” and keep the peace! 😂😂 But through it all, we kept choosing each other.
And somehow, after 48 years, we've managed to stay together without making the headline and killing each other in the process! 😂😂 That alone deserves a celebration!
Your dedication, commitment, steadfast support, and love have made these 48 years worth celebrating. Today, I celebrate you, us, and the long, exciting journey we've shared together.
