On Tuesday night, several WGA members were honored to assist with Thrive's Summer Pop-Up Event for teens. It was an initiative designed to connect local youth with opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and community engagement. Access to the mission and overall operations of these great organizations that truly make a difference in our community. The WGA remains committed to supporting programs that empower women and young people and strengthen our community by investing in the next generation of leaders.s.leaders.
The event gave teenagers the opportunity to explore various activities and areas of interest while engaging in small-group discussions and presentations facilitated by community leaders and influential members. These meaningful interactions offered valuable guidance, encouragement, and insight as participants considered opportunities for involvement and future growth.
We are grateful to the organizers, volunteers, and community partners whose dedication made this event possible. This event was part of the Women's Giving Alliance Community Connections Series that explores the non-profits in our areas and allows our members access to the mission and overall operations of these great organizations that truly make a difference in our community.
