The Cleona Borough Police Department is located in Lebanon County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approximately 3 miles west of the City of Lebanon. The Borough was incorporated in 1929 and according to the 2000 census, our population is 2,148 in a 0.9 square mile area with a total of 30 miles of local and state roadways. The department was established in 1956 and is currently comprised of 4 fullti

me police officers including a Chief of Police, a Sergeant, two Patrolman, and a school crossing guard. On July 1, 2014 at 8:00am the Cleona Borough Police Department began to provide contracted law enforcement services to North Annville Township.

This afternoon students from the Annville-Cleona School District came to the Annville Cleona Fire Department-Cleona Station to wash the trucks. The PD "persuaded" them to wash our cars in exchange for a tour of our vehicles/equipment. They did a great job!

On this date, the Cleona Borough Police Department conducted an occupant protection detail on South Mill Street in Cleona Borough.

A total of 5 drivers were stopped for speeding and other traffic violations. Top speed was 43 in a 25-mph zone and 1 seat belt violation.

The Cleona Borough Police Department would like to remind residents that a prescription drug collection box is located in the Borough Building at the Borough Office (window #3).

The drop box is available Monday-Friday during normal business hours and is available for all residents to safely and anonymously dispose of unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications.

Residents should go to the Borough Office to have an employee unlock the drug box.

ACCEPTED:
Prescription medications- (non-controlled substances)
Over-the-counter medications

NOT ACCEPTED:
Illegal drugs
Needles
Lotions or liquids
Inhalers
Aerosol cans
Thermometers
Hydrogen peroxide
