🎉🚒 Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department Inaugural Open House 🚒🎉

The Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department is excited to invite our community to our Inaugural Open House on June 27!

We are having a fun filled weekend that is being kicked off by our fire truck parade on Friday night and then Saturday will be our first ever open house!

This is a great opportunity for residents of all ages to visit the station, meet your local firefighters, and learn more about the services we provide to our community.

Time change:

RT. 4 WILL NOW BE CLOSING AT 1230 PM

TC Energy will be conducting an Emergency Shut Down test at Elk River Compressor Station on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 1230 PM. Clendenin Volunteer Fire Dept will be shutting RT. 4 down from 12:30 PM until approximately 1:00 PM in both directions for this test. Gas will be evacuated from the plant during this test, therefore anyone within the general vicinity will hear siren horns blowing and a loud roar. There is NO EMERGENCY occurring at the Station, the blow off is part of the test. If there are any questions or concerns, please reach out to TC Energy's Monitoring Center at 1-800-835-7191.
