City of Clemson P&R provides a variety of programs, events, and athletics for a wide-range of ages.

The Clemson Parks and Recreation Department provides a variety of activities, special events, and athletics for a wide-range of ages. The Department maintains twelve parks, encompassing one hundred acres. Facilities include: nine lighted tennis courts, two lighted adult softball fields, one lighted girls softball field, three lighted youth baseball fields, one adult baseball field, two lighted soccer fields, a fitness trail, picnic shelters, play structures, and greenspace.

🍁🧺 PICNIC IN THE PARK IS BACK, CLEMSON! 🧺🍁 Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 16 because our favorite fall tradition returns with a special guest performance! Bring a blanket and kick back to live tunes from Morris Ward as the sun sets. You can skip packing a meal because we’ve got dinner covered. Our food vendors Fizzy Chicks and Mac Attack will be on-site serving up food and refreshing drinks for purchase.

LACE UP! 👟 Now through Thursday, September 24, you can register to join us for the Youth Cross Country program this fall. The Gotta Run Clemson staff, led by former college runners and coaches, will be teaching the fundamentals of distance running. The program will end with a fun run on Saturday, November 21.

Ages: 6-13, based on player's age at start of program; all abilities welcome
Where: Nettles Park Lower Field (102 Nettles Park Road)
Dates: October 15 - November 12 (Tuesdays/Thursdays, 5:30PM - 6:30PM)
Cost: $20/participant (includes t-shirt, instruction and fun run entry)

Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Registration will end at 4:00PM on September 24, unless we have reached our maximum earlier. MARK YOUR CALENDARS! 🏃‍➡️ Youth Cross Country registration is opening on Monday, September 7! Spots are limited and may fill up quickly, so online registration as early as possible is highly recommended. Designed for ages 6-13 of all skill levels, this program focuses on fun, fitness, and building long-distance running skills. The Gotta Run Clemson staff, led by former college runners and coaches, will be teaching the fundamentals of distance running.

Practices take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, running from October 15 through November 12, and the season wraps up with a Fun Run on Saturday, November 21.
