Week One of Camp Clemson was an absolute blast! πŸŽ‰ We kicked off the summer with some unforgettable visitors and non-stop fun. A huge shoutout to Five Forks Farm () for bringing a mini pony, rabbits, baby tortoises, and a goat to hang out with us. Honestly, we still can’t get over how cute all the animals were! 😍

The excitement continued when Clemson Downs () stopped by to do arts and crafts with our explorers. 🎨

As for the treats? We went all out! After creating our own delicious s’mores on Wednesday, we are wrapping up the week with root beer floats, popcorn, and a movie. 🍿🎬 We can’t wait for Week Two!

Getting ready for Camp Clemson! πŸ‘ We can't wait for the fun to begin next Monday, June 8.

Last week’s powerful storms brought a lot of rain to Clemson, and unfortunately, a downed tree on the baseball fields at Nettles Park! ⚑ But as we all know, teamwork makes the dream work.

THANK YOU to Tony Tidwell, Brody Manley and the entire Urban & Park Land Management crew for jumping right into action. Their quick response and hard work cleared the area in record time. We also owe a big round of applause to Parks & Recreation Superintendent Tommy Korver and the whole maintenance crew for their support in the cleanup efforts.

πŸ‘ When the weather gets tough, our crews get tougher. We are very lucky to have such a strong team keeping our parks safe for everyone!

"The happiest place in Clemson." πŸ›Ή The new skate park at Clemson Park (114 Clemson Park Road) has invited travelers from across the state and even nation to experience the innovative, world-class design. This attraction is poised to draw new visitors who will explore everything Clemson has to offer, including shopping and dining after working up an appetite shredding.

"Being able to reinvest is critical. That's the whole point, improving our quality of life within our community, making sure that we add value to bring not only visitors but more importantly, our existing residents," said Mayor Halfacre.

And the momentum isn't slowing down! By this summer, the addition of a splash pad and shelter, all along the Green Crescent Trail, will bring even more energy to a place already creating special memories. Follow the progress until the grand opening of Clemson Park! πŸ”— https://tinyurl.com/3t965w2h
