Hope everyone is relaxing and soaking in summer vacation! 😎 Our officers are still smiling thinking about all the fun we had at Clemson Elementary's Field Day, just a few weeks ago.

That strong sense of community is exactly what keeps our neighborhoods safe. With schools out for the summer, neighbors looking out for neighbors is one of our most effective crime prevention tools. If you see any suspicious activity, please report it immediately to the Clemson Police Department.

THROWBACK THURSDAY! ⏪ Raise your hand if you joined us for the fun of Touch-A-Truck earlier this year! 🙋 The Clemson Police Department, alongside several other City departments and neighboring agencies, teamed up for the hands-on, interactive event at Nettles Park, hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department.

From flashing the bright blue lights and touring the inside of a police car to chatting with our neighbors, Touch-A-Truck was all about connecting with the community we love to serve. Seeing so many smiles reminded us why we do what we do, and we're already counting down the days until next year! 🚔

"It's kind of a double dose of people going on vacation." With school out for the summer, more of you are traveling away from Clemson right now. DID YOU KNOW? ❓ To give residents peace of mind, the Clemson Police Department offers a free Vacation Watch program to keep an eye on your home while you are away - any time of year.

"We know based on that application that there's nobody there, or if somebody is checking on the house, who it's supposed to be," Chief Campos said. "This helps us kind of direct our patrols and gives us a little more of an indication if something doesn't look quite right."
