Skyler Moore, 20, of Clementon, told Action News that he hid the phone in the faculty bathroom during the summer while working at the school as a custodian.

A message from Chief Boyle:

To the Residents of Clementon Borough,
It is with disappointment that I must announce that the Clementon Police Department will not be conducting the Junior Police Academy or participating in National Night Out this year.

This decision was not made lightly. Over recent months, the department has experienced staffing reductions and limitations on filling vacant positions, while also managing personnel assigned to modified duty. These circumstances have created significant challenges in maintaining patrol coverage, limiting overtime expenditures, and supporting officer wellness.

In order to continue providing essential police services and preserve resources for daily operations and required training, difficult decisions had to be made regarding programs that require additional staffing commitments.

We understand these events are important to many families and community members, and we share in your disappointment. Community engagement remains a priority for our department, and we remain committed to restoring these opportunities when operational conditions allow.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we work to maintain the level of service our community expects and deserves.

UPDATE: Julio was located.

MISSING PERSON: Julio Rodriguez, of Stratford, NJ, was last in contact with family approximately one week ago. Julio is a Hispanic Male, 63 years old, 6'1", with a thin build. Julio is known to walk the White Horse Pike and frequents Stratford, Lindenwold, Clementon, and Pine Hill. Anyone with information is asked to contact Clementon Police Department at (856) 783-4900.
