š Meet Officer C. Godfrey! Bringing 4 years of dedicated service to the Cleburne Police Department, he is currently assigned to the Patrol Unit working night shift. Officer Godfreyās decision to join the Cleburne Police Department was influenced by its convenient location, small-town charm, and big city access. Officer Godfrey's interest in law enforcement originates from his childhood, where he viewed police officers as heroic figures and positive role models.
In addition to his commitment on patrol, Officer Godfrey serves as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Recruiting Team. His ambition extends to forming a Special Response Team focused on addressing high crime areas, targeting high-profile offenders, and apprehending wanted subjects.
Officer Godfrey finds fulfillment in proactive crime prevention, navigating the uncertainties of the job, and ensuring community safety, despite the routine yet crucial task of report writing. Passionate about crime prevention, Officer Godfrey thrives on the adrenaline of the unknown and the satisfaction of keeping criminals off the streets. Despite the demanding nature of the job, he emphasizes the importance of public education and wishes people knew that not everyone who goes to jail is a bad person.
Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, Officer Godfrey values the advice that "You may not be able to catch everyone, but everyone eventually gets caught." He is committed to being the officer individuals can rely on during moments of crisis, embodying professionalism, compassion, and commitment.
During his time off, Officer Godfrey enjoys playing video games such as "Call of Duty," shooting guns, going on road trips to visit family, and enjoying Friday night movies and bowling with his girlfriend and close friends. His personal favorites include watching Stephen King's "IT," attending metal music concerts like Kublai Khan, and if he were to win the lottery, he would fulfill his mom's dream by buying her a luxury car.
