Pretty normal things to have around the house, right? The problem is, they can also make getting around a little trickier for an older adult.

A quick safety check can go a long way:

🧦 Swap slippery socks for non-slip footwear
💡 Add a little more light to dark hallways
🏠 Secure or remove loose rugs
🪑 Keep walkways clear and easy to navigate

The goal isn't to change the whole house. It's to make everyday movement feel a little safer.

💙 Pathways in the Process of Aging 💙

We had a wonderful time today at the Burleson Senior Center, where Caring Senior Service of Johnson County presented Pathways in the Process of Aging and provided lunch for approximately 33 attendees!

We enjoyed the opportunity to share information, answer questions, and talk about the changes that can come with aging—as well as the resources and support available to help seniors and their families navigate those changes.

When we think of emergencies, it’s easy to picture sirens and urgent calls. But sometimes, the real warning signs are much quieter.

A loved one starts skipping Sunday gatherings because getting out feels overwhelming.

The mail stacks up by the door.

They’re spending more time alone than ever before.

These aren’t dramatic moments, but they matter deeply.

Shoutout to our owner Kreshna for always showing up and showing out!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Being a business owner, wife, grandma, mother and having a caring heart isn’t for everyone but she makes it look easy! She takes pride in showing up for the seniors in our community just as much as she shows up for her own family.

Knowing Kreshna is to know the definition of caring. Which is why she takes so much pride in the way she operates Caring of Cleburne. She’s in the office, she’s doing inservice’s to educate the community of the benefits of our services and she’s spoiling our referrals with special goodies too!

We loved spending time with the residents of Plateau Ridge over brunch while sharing how Caring Senior Service can help seniors stay independent with a little extra support at home.
