Our final day of Summer Safety Camp was packed with fun, learning, and special guests! Campers enjoyed exciting Minute-To-Win-It games, a lesson and activity on Flag Day presented by American Legion Cleburne Unit 50, participated in a Vehicle Safety lesson presented by Cook Children's, shared lunch with a Law Enforcement Buddy, and got an up-close look at Cleburne PD's SWAT and patrol vehicles.

A huge thank you to the officers from Cleburne Police Department, Mansfield Police Department, and Child Protective Investigations for taking time out of your day to spend with our campers. Your willingness to connect with our kids, answer questions, and teach important safety lessons helped make the day unforgettable.

We are so grateful to all of our community partners, volunteers, and staff who helped make this year's Summer Safety Camp such a success!

We have a family in our services that is in need of assistance. This single mother and her three young children are starting over with very few belongings and are in need of a couple of dressers or chests to store their clothing.

If you have a gently used dresser or chest that you would be willing to donate, please contact the Children's Advocacy Center of Johnson County at 817-558-1599 and ask for Stephanie or Kristy.

Today's Summer Safety Camp theme was Safety in the Kitchen!

Our campers had a fantastic day rotating through four interactive stations, including art therapy, etiquette lessons, making their own pizzas, and baking and decorating their own cupcakes. The day was packed with fun, learning, and plenty of delicious creations!

While it was a busy day, it was also an incredibly rewarding one. We are so thankful for our amazing staff and volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make today's camp activities such a success. Your hard work helps create lasting memories and valuable learning experiences for the children we serve.

Day Three of Summer Safety Camp was WATER DAY!

Our campers started the morning with a fun art therapy project before heading outside for a day full of water activities and summer fun. The kids stayed cool while enjoying water games, snow cones on the patio, and McDonald's Happy Meals for lunch.

A special thank you to McDonald's Cleburne – Henderson location for their generous lunch donation. Your support helped make the day even more special for our campers!

We would also like to thank all of our amazing volunteers who generously gave their time and weren't afraid to get a little wet while helping create lasting memories for the children. We couldn't do it without you!
