Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco connects children in foster care with their forever families. It began with a simple idea.

Create an extraordinary portrait of a foster child and it will capture the heart of prospective parents. More than just an exhibit, the Heart Gallery is a way for families to come face to face with children in need of forever families. The Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco was launched in June of 2006. Modeled after many other successful Heart Galleries throughout the US, it includes portraits of

local foster children available for adoption. Unlike many Heart Galleries that are part of a state child protection agency, the Heart Gallery of Pinellas & Pasco is an independent, charitable organization that began as a grass-roots, community initiative. Our partners include our local case management agencies, Tampa Bay Area professional photographers, a host of committed volunteers, and big-hearted sponsors. Each year, hundreds of children in Pinellas and Pasco foster homes risk reaching adulthood without finding permanent adoptive families. Removed from their biological parents due to abuse or neglect, these children are legally free for adoption and truly belong to our community. But what they want most of all is to be part of one family…their special “forever” family.

Summer can be such a fun time for families! It’s important to enjoy summer safely. Most injuries that occur are completely preventable if we are aware of them.

Join us in this virtual session with guest speaker Jessica Winberry, Prevention Coordinator - Safe Kids Northeast Florida with THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health led by Wolfson Children’s Hospital, to learn some the main causes of injury and hospitalization that occur with kids and teens and some simple steps on how they can be avoided.
