The Pinellas Park Fire Department is an all hazards agency providing Fire, EMS, Prevention, and Emergency Management activities for the City of Pinellas Park. Under the leadership of the Fire Chief, the organization is divided into four divisions - Operations, Fire Prevention, Emergency Management, and Administrative Services. The Operations Division provides emergency services which includes fire, EMS, tactical paramedic, public education, fire safety inspections, technical rescue, and hazardous materials response. Fire Prevention staff members provide prevention activities including public education, fire plan review, fire safety reviews, fire inspections, and building preplans for the community served. Emergency Management is tasked with preparing the City and community for all types of natural and manmade disasters. The staff in Administrative Services manages the agency’s budget, contracts, apparatus and equipment purchases, payroll, records management, and planning.

Thank you Spectrum Bay News 9 for highlighting our new training tower.

This tower has been a few years of planning and lining up the financial resources to make sure we could build fast, safe, and with fiscal responsibility.

In the end this $2 million project will have a high ROI with daily training, better teamwork and response to situations, as well as retainment and future recruitment.

Pinellas Park deserves the best and we are giving it to them with this amazing training tower - just the fourth of its kind in Pinellas County!

On Wednesday, Our Fire Chief Andrew Hughes and members of our team helped welcome Pinellas Park resident Mike Delancey to his new, mortgage-free home courtesy of Tunnels to Towers.

We presented the colors, offered opening prayer, and helped hold the ceremonial ribbon in front of the home.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11, it is moments like this, people like Mike, and organizations like Tunnels to Towers that make sure we never forget that day, the sacrifices made that day, and all the sacrifices made after for our communities and our country.
