We finished our school year with a bang!

We had a visit with Terri from the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library to celebrate the PA One Book of the year 📚

We had a visit from State Trooper Kem Parada where our kids got to learn about the State Police, how to stay safe, ask questions, and even got to explore the police car! 🚓

We enjoyed some fun at our carnival with lots of face painting, crafts, games, and treats 🍭

We celebrated our 2026 preschool graduates! While this was a hard goodbye for many, we wish nothing but the best as these students as they head off to Kindergarten in the fall 🎓

Our classes are growing and we are hiring 2 part time classroom assistants for the 2026-2027 school year!
In order to apply you must:
~have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
~be able to complete and keep up to date a PA child abuse clearance, PA state police clearance and an FBI fingerprint clearance.
~be willing to complete a mandated reporter training and first aid/cpr training
~preferred work experience with children and have a basic understanding of child development
~Pay will be discussed at interviews

You may pick up an application at the Presbyterian Church of Clearfield between the hours of 8am and 3:30pm. Please ring the church office bell so the pre-school class is not disrupted. Please also be sure to submit a resume with your application.

March recap: We celebrated Read Across America week with Dr. Seuss, had some fun with theme week, had Mayor Mason Strouse as a guest reader, learned so many new things from chapel time with Pastor Julia, celebrated St. Patrick’s day with special leprechaun rocks, had a visit from puppets Prune and Pistachio that talked to us about safety, celebrated the 100th day of school, had an easter party with an egg hunt and lots more! We sure do keep busy here at pre-school!

We have a lot of exciting things happening in our classroom! We have hatching eggs, caterpillars and our tadpoles are still growing strong! 🦋🥚🌻

We’re starting to learn about life cycles. I would say we’re off to a good start!

Day 1 when we received the frog eggs and then Day 4. They are growing AND moving!!
