Open Doors Bringing the community together to strengthen families and increase self-reliance in Davis and Morgan Counties. We offer a hand UP, not a hand-out!

Open Doors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It takes recognizing a problem, then finding the desire and drive to fix that problem. Unfortunately, some changes simply feel beyond reach and pointless to even try. That’s where we, Open Doors, can help. By providing resources to our fellow human beings, we’re guiding families back to getting on their feet just like we always have, and always will. The missio

Child abuse prevention month has been nationally designated since 1983, and is the perfect time to come together to focus on positive solutions to ensure every child can have the happy, healthy childhood they deserve. No parent should wonder how they're going to feed their kids tonight.

More families in Davis County are asking for food help than we’ve seen in years. Rising costs mean more parents are stretching every dollar, hoping it will cover rent, bills, and groceries.
Here’s what your generosity can do at Open Doors:

$25 helps us purchase nutritious food, filling donation gaps
$50 helps a family leave with emergency food for 3-5 days
$100 helps keep our shelves stocked for the day

Same face, new place.

We’re excited to officially share that Open Doors will be moving to a new building!

For years, our programs have operated across multiple buildings in different cities. While we’ve worked hard to stay collaborative and connected, we know our clients deserve something better: one accessible location where everyone can access as many of our services as they need, without barriers.

Renovations are already underway, and we’ll be sharing progress photos, updates, FAQs, and ways you can be part of this next chapter.

To kick things off, we’re sharing a message from our Executive Director below.
