LeRoy Myers is a lifelong resident of Washington County. He graduated from Clear Spring High School and attended Hagerstown Community College. LeRoy served in the United States Army Reserves from 1970-1976. LeRoy is the owner and president of Myers Building Systems, which employs approximately 40 people throughout the Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. Since 1984, Myers Building

Systems has been responsible for over 3000 structures in the tri-state area. Myers Building Systems has been recognized on numerous occasions for service and innovation. While active and successful in business, LeRoy knows the importance of community service. In 2002, LeRoy took his love of community service a step further and made a successful bid for the House of Delegates. He has represented District 1C which includes areas of Allegheny and Washington Counties for a decade, serving on the House Ways and Means Committee, and chairing both the Washington County Delegation and the Western Maryland Delegation. Now, LeRoy wishes to take his years of community service, business experience, and state leadership and serve the citizens of Washington County as their next County Commissioner.
