🌿 Volunteer Opportunity: Garden Explorers at Fresh on Fridays! 🌿

We’re looking for a few extra helping hands in the garden during Fresh on Fridays to support our Garden Explorers program.

Garden Explorers creates an interactive garden space where youth can explore, learn, and develop a love for nature. Volunteers help with simple but important tasks like setting up activities, keeping water buckets filled, checking supplies, helping with food for the chickens, and engaging with kids and families in the garden.

💦 Don't miss the Conservation Station at Central Gardens this Friday! 🔎

💧 Water Rocks is bringing this award-winning youth water education program to North Iowa for this week's Fresh on Fridays event. The Conservation Station uses visual and interactive Iowa-centric demonstrations to explore the impact of land management choices on water quality and the connections between Iowa’s water, soil, and wildlife. 🦊

Central Gardens hosts Fresh on Fridays starting this Friday, June 5 through the summer and into the fall (floral arrangements will still be available after Garden Explorers ends when kids go back to school). From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., enjoy refreshments, check out Garden Explorers activities (kids), and purchase floral arrangements prepared by amazing volunteers!
