Central Gardens of North Iowa A beautiful public garden located on 2.75 acres near downtown Clear Lake, Iowa. Free and open daily May 1 through October 31, dawn to dusk. Come and enjoy!

Meeting space available for rent year round for corporate meetings, family gatherings, and more. The Gardens close for the season beginning on November 1st and the gates re-open on May 1st. The Nature Education Pavilion on the Garden grounds will still be available for rental during the off season.

Harvesting tomatoes for the food bank last night turned into a rescue mission! 🦋

Our dedicated volunteer, Nicole Jane Marie Low, and her kiddos found a monarch chrysalis stuck to a tomato! We rigged it up to a light so we can all watch the beautiful butterfly emerge.

Look with your eyes only! 👀 No touching please 🚫

We appreciate all the support from the community that made this event so successful. Our thanks to the many companies and individuals that contributed to the silent auction, and to all the people who were so generous in buying those items. What a fantastic evening; we are truly grateful.
