During today’s inclement weather, the clubhouse was struck by lightning.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Craig Hulsey, who observed smoke coming from the clubhouse roof following the lightning strike and immediately called 911. His quick actions helped ensure a rapid emergency response.

The Kemah Fire Department, Seabrook FD, League City FD, and the Clear Lake Shores Police Department were dispatched immediately. Upon arrival, first responders observed smoke coming from the rooftop and took swift action to assess and address the situation.

We are grateful for the professionalism and prompt response of all emergency personnel involved. At this time, crews are working to assess the extent of the damage. Once a complete evaluation has been conducted, we will provide the public with an update regarding the condition of the clubhouse.

We would also like to thank Art's Roofing for responding so quickly to our request for help in protecting the roof to prevent any further water damage.

Thank you to Craig Hulsey and all of our first responders for their vigilance, professionalism, and dedication to the safety of our community.
