🚧 PIONEER DAYS WEEKEND ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION 🚧

🎆 Firework Watch Party – July 4
⏰ 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Viewing will take place from Wye Park. East to South Railroad Street will remain open during the Fireworks Show and throughout the Dock Diving Dogs event weekend. Please drive with caution through Wye Park area!

🚗 July 3–5 Traffic Advisory
Speeds will be reduced along West Railroad Street during the day and into the evening. Please use caution and remain alert in high-pedestrian traffic areas throughout the weekend.

🇺🇸 Pioneer Day Parade – July 4
• Railroad Street closures begin at 8:00 AM (parade traffic access only)
• First Street closures begin at 8:30 AM
• Hard closures on First Street begin at 9:00 AM
• Pre-Parade begins at 9:40 AM
• Parade begins at 10:00 AM
• All closures will remain in effect until approximately 12:00 PM and will reopen as soon as conditions allow.

🚫 NO PARKING NOTICE
Downtown First Street “No Parking” signs will be posted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. Vehicles parked within designated road closure areas on the day of the event may be subject to removal to ensure public safety and event operations.

⚠️ Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and utilize alternate routes when possible. Emergency access will be maintained throughout all events.

Check out details of the updated travel advisory for Bullfrog Road.

UPDATED TRAVEL ADVISORY from Washington State Department of Transportation:

Starting Thursday, May 28, the Bullfrog Road overpass will be closed for approximately two weeks as crews pave the final overlay. The overpass was replaced earlier this year after the bridge was damaged by an over-height load in October 2025.

WSDOT has clarified their notification that It WILL be opened during the WEEKENDS.

Westbound travelers will be able to access the Cle Elum/Roslyn area from exit 80, but will not be able to travel south across the Bullfrog overpass. Eastbound I-90 travelers accessing the Cle Elum/Roslyn area will need to travel five miles east to exit 85 to State Route 903. To get across the bridge from Suncadia, travelers can go west to exit 78, and turn around to exit 80.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have today.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a moment to remember those who never made it home and the families who carry their memory every day. 🇺🇸
