Last night, Troop 24 had the exciting opportunity to participate in a hands-on Stop The Bleeding Training Course provided by WakeMed Medical Simulation Center and WakeMed Trauma Center. The Scouts learned valuable knowledge in stopping a severe bleed by holding pressure, packing a wound, and, of course, applying a tourniquet (which the Scouts were very excited to learn about)! Our adult leaders even got in on the training, too!

Thank you Dr. Snyder and Mr. Parrish for teaching our Troop!
