The next meeting of the Residential Zoning Review Committee will meet tonight (June 11) at 7:00pm in the Clayton administration building.

This will be our second meeting and we will discuss committee observations from personal review of city planning documents. We will also discuss RSD zoning-history, background, and current application. The public is welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to make comments.

A huge thank you to all of our Clayton public servants! They all do a fantastic job, and many of them take on multiple roles to ensure steady operations of the city. As a city, we are blessed to have such a dedicated team!

Next time you see a Clayton public servant, please thank them for their service, I know they will appreciate the recognition.

During Public Service Recognition Week, we take time to recognize the people who make our community stronger every day.

Whether responding to emergencies, maintaining our roads and parks, supporting residents, or keeping operations running behind the scenes, public servants play a vital role in the quality of life we enjoy in Clayton.

A beautiful day with a slight chill, just right to get out and check out A Bushel and a Peck over on Haber Rd near the high school. Some great deals on their products plus fun rides and food trucks to enjoy the day!

Last night I presented the State of the City to Clayton City Council. As outlined in the city charter, the Mayor provides an annual update to Council on the progress our city has made and the city’s outlook.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share where we are and where we’re going. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Council this year as we focus on achieving our goals and keeping Clayton, Ohio a great place to call home. Let’s be great, Clayton!

A fun time was had by all at the annual Easter egg hunt at Meadowbrook this past Saturday. I enjoyed kicking off the event and watching the kids scramble for eggs (no pun intended 😆). The Easter bunny made an appearance as well, some kids were thrilled and others… not so much. Thanks to city staff and volunteers for putting the time and effort in to make this a fun time!

I enjoyed the opportunity visiting all three of Clayton‘s parks on Saturday morning to participate in and observe our parks cleanup day. I was also happy to see Ward 1 Councilmember LeeAnne Bustos out pitching in, great job setting the example! Collecting all of the sticks after high winds definitely beautified our parks… and preserved the city’s mower blades! Get out and enjoy a Clayton park near you!

Join the Clayton Parks Advisory Commission for a community park cleanup on Saturday, March 21, from 9:00–10:00 AM. Help us keep Clayton’s parks beautiful for everyone to enjoy!

A Parks Advisory Commission representative will be at each park to help direct volunteers, and supplies will be provided by the City.
