One week until we draw a winner!

There’s still time to get your tickets for the Clayton Police Department’s Special Olympics Basket Raffle. And this basket is now packed with more than $1,200 in prizes and gift cards donated by businesses throughout our community.

Every ticket purchased helps support Special Olympics North Carolina and its athletes through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

We’ll draw the winning ticket Friday, Sept. 11 during the final Downtown Clayton Concert Series performance. You do not need to be present to win.

Last week, K9 Rex was the recipient of a LOF Defense Systems ballistic vest due to the generosity of the Protecting K9 Heroes non-profit organization. Their mission is to facilitate, through charitable donations, an additional funding resource to reach a goal of 100% opportunity for ballistic protection for K9s and reducing K9 line of duty deaths to 0% annually.

With the support and donations of community members, businesses, and organizations, Protecting K9 Heroes has helped protect working K9s across the country and around the world.
The Clayton Police Department extends our sincere gratitude to Protecting K9 Heroes for the donation of this ballistic vest to K9 Rex.

Back-to-school week can be a lot. We figured everyone could use a laugh.

All our School Resource Officers had to do was say two words together: “Welcome back.”

Applications are now open for our next Women’s Self-Defense Class.

This class fills up quickly, so if you would like to join us, we encourage you to apply as soon as you can. Once the class and waitlist are full, the application will close.

The class is scheduled for 5:30–8 p.m., Monday, September 14, at the Clayton Police Department.
