The Torch Run is about more than a single event. Each year, our officers proudly partner with Special Olympics North Carolina to help create opportunities for athletes across the state. It's a cause that means a great deal to our department, and we're grateful for a community that continues to support those efforts year after year.

As this video shows, the Torch Run brings together athletes, law enforcement, and community members in a shared commitment to inclusion, encouragement, and opportunity.

While this year's Torch Run has come to an end, fundraising for Special Olympics North Carolina continues throughout the year. If you're interested in purchasing a Torch Run t-shirt or hat or would like to purchase tickets for our gift basket raffle, visit http://info.ClaytonNC.org/M5Ul50Z696R.

Thank you for helping us support Special Olympics North Carolina and the athletes who inspire us all.

Clayton High School graduation is Thursday (5/28), beginning at 6 p.m. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

Drivers should expect increased traffic and possible delays between 2–9 p.m., with the busiest times likely between 4–6 p.m. before the ceremony and 8–9 p.m. afterward. Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time if you’ll be in the area.

Graduation parking passes have sold out. Everyone parking on campus must have a graduation-specific parking pass and enter near their color-coded designated lot. A parking map is included for reference. Those without a parking pass will need to use free public parking and follow all Town parking ordinances.

Please remember to park only in designated areas and avoid blocking streets, driveways, or businesses.
