We're still looking for artists and creatives!!🎨✨

Faust Park’s annual Art Fair is returning September 5–6, 9 AM–5 PM, and we’re inviting local and regional artists to be part of this beloved community tradition!

If you create it we want to showcase it: painting, pottery, woodworking, jewelry, photography, fiber arts, mixed media, handmade goods, and more.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the St. Louis Area History Showcase at Jefferson Barracks Park. We loved celebrating America’s 250th birthday and the 200th anniversary of Jefferson Barracks with all of you. We had an absolute blast!

A huge thank‑you to all of our incredible vendors for joining us and sharing so much local history, and an extra big shoutout to our history team for working so hard over the past few months to bring this event to life.

Our young gardeners had a blooming good time at our fifth Children’s Garden Club session of the year. This month, we created handmade wind chimes at the Queeny Park nursery! It was a beautiful morning of creativity, curiosity, and lots of smiles.

Our 30/30 Hikes Program features 30 trails across St. Louis County, each designed to take about 30 minutes to complete. Explore new parks, enjoy fresh air, and track your progress along the way.

Complete all 30 hikes and you’ll log 15 hours of activity, experience 55 miles of beautiful county parks, and earn a 30/30 Challenge Coin! 🥇

Looking to host an event in a unique historic setting? Look no further than the Jefferson Barracks Visitor Center (JBVC).

Built in 1878 and opened as a visitor center in 2003, the Jefferson Barracks Visitor Center recently reopened after repairs from past flood damage. The refreshed space now offers improved comfort while preserving the historic charm that makes it a welcoming place for gatherings.

With 2,535 square feet of flexible space and seating for up to 100 guests, the Visitor Center is a versatile venue for celebrations, educational programs, presentations, community events, and more. The room also includes a sink kitchenette for basic food prep needs, making it easy to host everything from workshops to birthday parties. Please note that the kitchenette does not include a refrigerator or ice machine.

Whether you’re planning a party, meeting, or gathering of remembrance, the JBVC offers a flexible and inviting space in the heart of the park.

Soak up the longest days of the year on our Summer Sunset Float! 🌅🚣‍♀️

Join us Wednesday, July 22 from 2:30–8:30 PM for a scenic paddle along the Meramec. Canoes are open to ages 8+, and new this year we’re offering a limited number of kayaks for ages 13+! 🛶✨ Spots are very limited.

Floaters will meet at the Meramec Landing Park boat ramp in Valley Park and shuttle to Route 66 State Park to begin the journey. Please bring your own dinner, drinking water, sunscreen and any personal items you’ll need. All participants must be off the water by 9 PM. Canoes, lifejackets and paddles are provided.
