Claypool 5th graders visited Pisgah Marsh in North Webster. They learned how glaciers created the region and affected the soil. Students also participated in stations to learn about the mammals, trees, and birds native to the area. Thank you to Kosc. Co. Soil & Water Conservation District for leading this outdoor adventure!

Happy ! Today we're excited to celebrate the Lutheran Health Network team that supports our students and WCS athletic teams every day!

A huge thank you to athletic trainers Corey Branam, Trevor Pruitt and Cassandra Pontious, along with Andrew Childress, Director of Strength and Conditioning, for the positive impact they make across WCS every day!

Through WCS’s partnership with LHN, these four individuals work directly in our schools to support students, staff and athletic teams through athletic training services and strength and conditioning support.

Thank you for all you do for WCS students and athletes!

This year, Claypool Elementary received the KREMC EnviroWatts Grant. 5th grade students used the funds to purchase supplies to build a compost bin by their garden area. They also bought wheelbarrows, rakes, and shovels. Students used tools to build and assemble the compost bin. Next year they plan to keep up the compost to add to 2nd grade's pollinator garden.

For 20 years, we have proudly helped provide free summer meals to children in our community!!

This summer, free meals will once again be available for all kids ages 18 and younger at multiple locations throughout Warsaw and surrounding areas. No registration or ID is required.

A huge thank you to our WCS Food Service Department for the incredible work they do behind the scenes to organize meal sites, coordinate approvals and make sure students continue to have access to meals and support throughout the summer months. Their dedication continues to make a difference for so many families each year.

Check out the flyer below for locations, dates and meal times!
