It was truly an incredible experience and a great way to celebrate this milestone together. Take a look at a few highlights from the trip!

Also, thank you to Mrs. Rayla Mills for creating this experience for our students.

Good luck to our resilient Lady Vandals softball team as they take on Kingman Academy in the AIA State Playoffs today at 11:00 AM!

We are incredibly proud of this group. Following yesterday’s tragic accident, the team showed true grit and unity by making the collective decision to wait for another district bus, regroup, and continue on to the game. That’s not just commitment…that’s Vandal Pride at its finest.

Play with heart, Ladies. We’re all behind you, go get that victory!

In this photo, Mr. Crosby awards the first-place medal to Viren Roojam and what an incredible moment it represents!

This week, Viren competed in the Extemporaneous Speaking Contest at the Superstition Region FFA competition. Imagine being given a random topic, just 30 minutes to prepare, and then delivering a 4–6 minute speech in front of an audience without notes. Contestants are judged on organization, delivery, confidence, and presence, all under intense pressure and tight time constraints.

Viren rose to the challenge and delivered an outstanding performance, earning the top honor!

Congratulations, Viren, on this remarkable achievement. And a big thank you to Mr. Crosby for his continued leadership and support of our students.

Last night, Miami High School proudly welcomed our newest members into the National Honor Society.

This special evening was about more than academic achievement. It was a celebration of leadership, service, integrity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. These are the qualities that define not just outstanding students, but outstanding people.

To our inductees, congratulations on this well-earned honor. Your future is incredibly bright, and we can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make. You truly represent the best of the best.

A highlight on our parents and guardians for raising and nurturing such a fine group of young individuals.

Last night, MUSD was full of energy, talent, and community pride!

Our intermediate campus came alive with an incredible concert and art show featuring our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. The performances were outstanding, and the creativity on display in the art projects was truly inspiring. A big thank you to Mrs. Chambers and Mrs. Villarin for guiding our students and helping showcase their talents.

At the same time, Freshman Forward Night was a tremendous success! Families explored our academic programs, athletics, CTE opportunities, and student organizations. It was great to see so many families engaged and planning for the future. Thank you to Ms. O’Connell and Mr. Noriega for organizing such a meaningful event.

We are proud of our students, staff, and community for making nights like this so special.

In Miami, we are shifting our mindset. Instead of focusing on what students lack, we are choosing to recognize their strengths - their gifts, talents, and unique abilities - and using those as the foundation for learning.

When we change our perspective, we begin to see our students in a whole new light.

That shift is already making an impact, especially in the arts. We are proud to celebrate two of our talented students for their outstanding achievements at the Eastern Arizona College Skills Day:

🎨 Sophomore Kaiden Goss earned 1st Place for his drawing in the Medium category.
🎨 Junior John McGoughey received an Honorable Mention for his work.

Your creativity and dedication are inspiring. Congratulations to you both!
