Accepting 2026 Mowing Bids
Dates:: Feb 1st — March 1st

We are currently accepting bids for our 2026 mowing season, the season will be here before we know it, so lets get those bids in…
Our mowing season will start on May 1, 2026 and end on September 30, 2026.

Contractor Duties include:
The Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment and materials sufficient for the job performance of this contract.
Zif Township building lot (not the quail reserve)
4 cemeteries to be maintained
Wells — Williams — Wright — Zif
Duties include: mowing and trimming as needed to maintain a respectful, dignified and remembered appearance, including blowing grass off of monuments that may or may not have been blown on during mowing / trimming.
The Contractor will be expected to adjust the appropriate mowing height for an appreciative appearance.
The Contractor is required to mow and trim within the week before the following holidays: Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
The Contractor will need to turn in documentation of (proof of insurance) General Liability Insurance coverage.
If you mow for other cemeteries please list them for reference.

Please have all bids post marked by March 1, 2026. All bids will be considered, no matter if it is per month bid or for the whole season bid, if submitted by March 1, 2026. Any bids submitted or received after March 1, 2026 will NOT be considered.

Mowing Contractor will be selected at our regular meeting on March 3, 2026. Chosen contractor will be notified on the following day.

The Dumpster is here, November 3- Novemeber 17

These Dumpster services are ONLY for Zif Township Residents and Taxpayers. Any UNAUTHORIZED dumping will be charged a usage fee.

Here is a short list of unacceptable items
Car/ Truck/ Equipment Batteries
Tires
Tv’s
Landscape Waste
Chemicals/Liquid
-If you place these in the dumpster there will be a fine applied.

In an effort to keep from filling up the dumpster so fast, we ask that you place large metal item (Like appliances and steel pieces) behind the dumpster as we will haul them off for scrap later.

There are also some ibc totes with their tops cut out, if you would throw all your aluminum (cans, sheets and scrap) into these we will haul them out separately as well.

Thank you for helping us keep these dumpsters returning for your use.

We are looking for someone to mow the Town Hall Yard.

The mowing season starts May 1st and goes until September 30th. The estimated area that will be mowed is about 1 acre.

Bids that are submitted as a contract per month or for the whole season are preferred but all bids submitted will be considered.

Contractor will be selected on our regular meeting on April 8th 2025, The winning contractor will be notified on the following day.

This can be an Individual, we prefer that you carry some liability insurance.

We are currently looking for a new contractor mow our cemeteries and we are accepting bids for the 2025 mowing season.
Please have your bids mailed to the Zif Township by April 4 2025.
