During the Fire Department Halloween Hotdog Feed at the Legion, bring your canned and non-perishable food items to satisfy Hangry the Monster’s growling belly! 🧟‍♂️🍽️
All donations will be passed along to the local food pantry to help those in need.

 Grass Fire Quickly Contained

This afternoon, Clay Center Fire responded to a small grass fire caused by a spark from a chainsaw. Thanks to the quick response of our firefighters and the mutual aid assistance from Harvard Fire Department, the fire was contained swiftly with no injuries or property damage.

We appreciate the teamwork and support from Harvard Fire and remind everyone to stay cautious when using equipment outdoors, especially in dry conditions.

Exciting News for Clay Fire & Rescue!

After a lot of hard work and fundraising, we are thrilled to announce the delivery of our brand-new ambulance—a 2024 Ford F-550 Braun Chief XL! This state-of-the-art unit is equipped with the latest technology to enhance patient care, safety, and efficiency for our EMS crews.

Some of the key features include:
✅ Stryker Power-LOAD & Power Cot – Reduces strain on our providers and enhances patient safety during transport.
✅ Advanced Safety Features – Designed to protect both patients and crew members while responding to emergencies.
✅ Modernized Equipment & Layout – Allows for more efficient care in critical situations.

This new ambulance will be in service within the next couple of weeks, ensuring that we continue to provide the highest level of emergency medical care to our community.
