Johnson County Republican Committee- Arkansas The JCRC is dedicated to keeping you informed about what’s happening in our community and to recruiting qualified candidates to run for office in our County.

Our Chair, Marty Claiborne, leads our meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM. Our goal is to build a strong and productive county commitee in the River Valley in order to ensure a strong and competitive two-party system in Arkansas. We wish to provide:
--The spread by word of mouth the conservative Republican principles.

--Recruit qualified candidates to run for elected office.


--And by raising funds to support the parties candidates and activities.

-JCRC meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Clarksville Johnson County Chamber at 6:00pm.

Thursday August 6th the Johnson County Republican Committee declared a vacancy on the ballot for Justice of the Peace District 8 due to the withdrawal of the current candidate on the ballot, Katie Howard.

We will hold a special meeting Tuesday, August 11th at 6pm at the Marvin Vinson Center to replace her on the ballot for the upcoming election.

If you live in District 8 and would like to put your name in for vote, please send us an email and come to the meeting because the vote will take place that evening.
