The Fifth District VFD will be hosting an open house on Sunday October 13th from 11:00 to 1:00

Come and see the fire and rescue equipment, have your fire safety questions answered and learn about fire safety. Don't forget to have your kids bring their favorite stuffed animal and take a selfie with the fire truck.

Activities include:

- A kiddie combat challenge where children can practice pulling a fire hose. Firefighters will help children use a fire hose to push an overhead inflated ball across a "zip line". They can also participate in a mock rescue activity where they can pull a dummy to safety on a stretcher.

- Demonstrations of the tools and equipment used by the Dive Search and Rescue team

- Demonstrations, tours and education of the fire equipment and Emergency Medical Services.

Hope to see you there!
