I hope you are following along with our 40 Days of Prayer leading up to the USA's Birthday! Today is Day 14 of our 40 Days of Prayer. 🇺🇸

Today, we pray for those impacted by addiction.

Addiction has touched nearly every family in America in some way. If it hasn’t touched yours, chances are someone close to you is carrying that burden quietly. This is not an issue that calls for judgment—it calls for compassion.

Whether someone is battling addiction themselves or walking alongside a loved one who is, they need encouragement, support, grace, and hope. Recovery is difficult, but healing is possible.

Today, let us pray for those in recovery, for treatment providers, counselors, chaplains, and for communities working every day to rebuild lives and restore hope.

No one is beyond redemption. No one is beyond hope.

Today's Prayer:
Lord, addiction has touched nearly every family in America. Draw near to those who are struggling and strengthen those walking the road of recovery today. Encourage the counselors, chaplains, treatment providers, and community members who serve and support them. Replace shame with hope, isolation with connection, and despair with healing. Remind each person that they are seen, loved, and never beyond Your reach. Amen.

On June 6, 1944, thousands of Allied troops crossed the English Channel and stormed the beaches of Normandy in one of the most pivotal moments in world history. Many never made it home. Their courage helped change the course of the war and protect freedom around the world.

As America approaches its 250th birthday, we pause to remember the Americans who fought on D-Day and the lasting impact of their sacrifice.

Across the country, many U.S. Department of the Interior sites preserve the stories, memorials, and museums connected to World War II and the Americans who served. These places help ensure future generations can continue to learn from and remember the sacrifices made during one of the defining chapters in our nation’s history.

Today, we remember the heroes of D-Day and the legacy they left behind.

Day 12 of our 40 Days of Prayer for the USA, leading up to her birthday. Behind every thriving community is faithful spiritual leadership. Pray for all of our spiritual leaders — that they would have the courage to speak truth and grace to love well.

Father, your church is only as strong as its shepherds. Give our spiritual leaders the courage to speak truth and grace and to love well. Protect them from burnout, compromise, and discouragement. Amen.
