Students Organized to Advance Renewable Energy (SOARE) We are Students Organized to Advance Renewable Energy... in other words, we're a green club. :) Our Purpose:

1.

In cooperation with the student body, faculty, administration and staff of Austin Peay State University, to promote awareness and use of renewable energy resources in the community and region.

2. To provide avenues for Austin Peay State University students and other interested citizens in the local community to participate in activities which will further an understanding of the social and enviro

nmental impact of various kinds of energy use, as well as develop hands-on skills to implement renewable energy solutions and practice conservation.

3. To provide an opportunity for SOARE members and other Austin Peay students to meet and work with other organizations with compatible goals in the region and to help students acquaint themselves with renewable energy technology options.

Hello Everyone! Just a reminder that we will be meeting to discuss upcoming activities and new ideas tomorrow from 4pm to 5pm downstairs in the UC in room 103C. If you do not know where this is, room 103C is downstairs in the Univercity Center on the opposite side from the campus Post office. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Feel free to come by, listen in on our meeting, join our organization if it’s something you’re interested in, and possibly get as involved in SOARE as its wonderful officers are!
