We have had a busy month, our 4-Hers have sewn, bought & filled 108 stockings for the residents at Focus Care & Clarksville Nursing Home. We hope they enjoy them as much as we did putting them together!

Congratulations to our newest Junior Master Photographer, Kensley Copeland. What is a JMP? "Texas 4-H Junior Master Photographer (JMP) program is designed to develop youth in 7th through 12th grade as leaders in the 4-H photography project through a series of in depth workshops and hands on practice events. The Texas 4-H Junior Master Photographer program provides advanced instruction to photography enthusiasts." (from the Texas 4-H website.

Community Service Opportunity for all 4-Hers. If you can't sew you can always donate stocking stuffers!
We have a goal of 108 Stockings this year. We have already been generously donated 19 from 1 family. 89 to go - we should have no problem reaching that goal!

We are in need of a few Christmas fabrics & stocking stuffers if anyone has those.

Last Friday we sent 4 teams of 4-Hers to the District IV Food Challenge contest in Sulphur Springs.
We had several new 4-Hers join teams this year, we hope they had fun & can't wait to start practicing for next year!
Results:
Senior Team - The Spaghetti O's - Alanna Blakely, Aleik Smith & Rylee Blount - 4th Place in Healthy Dessert
Intermediate Team - The Devilled Eggs - Cheyenne Ross, Jacie Stephens, Kensley Copeland & Rikki Long - 4th place Side Dish
Junior Team - The Butter Slices - Alex Leimbacher, Eli Leimbacher & Thatcher Shannon - 5th place in Main Dish
Junior Team - The Jef Chef's - Josh Blakely, Ken'lee Boyd & Lily Bledsoe - 5th place in Healthy Dessert
