Falls of the Ohio State Park is proud to announce that our new Axis Track Chair is available! The Track Chair can be reserved from the Interpretive Center front desk free of charge, on a first-come first-served basis. Guests can use the Track Chair to explore the paved ADA-accessible path down to the concrete overlook when the path is open. If the paved path is covered with driftwood and closed, guests can use the Track Chair to explore the outdoor classroom, gazebo, and the Lewis and Clark statue. The Track Chair cannot be taken further away from the building than the Lewis and Clark Statue, and operating it on the Woodland Trail and the Ohio River Greenway is prohibited. The Track Chair is only available to be used outdoors.

Guests can call the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center at 812-280-9970 to reserve the Track Chair at least 24 hours before their visit. When guests arrive to utilize the Track Chair, they will complete a brief agreement form, watch a short training video on Track Chair operations, and then receive brief hands-on training with a staff member before exploring the Falls of the Ohio!
