Join us for Whittling at the Coalition House: Autumn Workshop on November 3, 2026, at 6 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of creativity, connection, and hands-on whittling at the MCVC Coalition House. Take time to slow down, work with your hands, and connect with others as we celebrate the autumn season.

Space is limited to 10 participants, so registration is required. The Coalition House address will be provided with your registration confirmation.

Beginning Monday, 26 October at 0600: this closure will significantly impact the commute to Fort Campbell if you use I-24 to get to work.

At Exit 86 (Fort Campbell Blvd/41A exit), crews will block the exit ramp from I-24 westbound to U.S. 41A and the entrance ramp from U.S. 41A to westbound I-24 as the project to reconstruct I-24 from the 85.5-mile point to the Tennessee State Line (92 mm) continues. Eastbound Exit 86 ramps are not affected.

I-24 Westbound motorists can use two detour options: detour using Exit 89 or detour using I-169/Pennyrile Parkway at Exit 81.

These ramps will be closed for approximately 2-3 weeks while they are reconstructed to tie in with the new I-24 westbound roadway surface. The I-24 reconstruction project, which began in March, is scheduled to be concluded by mid-November, with all four lanes of the interstate reopening to traffic.

Additional detours from Clarksville: Tiny Town Road and 101st ABN Division Parkway to 41A/Fort Campbell Blvd.

Bring shoes. Give hope!

We’re collecting new and gently used shoes at the MCVC Monthly Meeting on October 21 at 9:00 a.m. to support the Rotary Club of Clarksville’s shoe drive for Soles 4 Souls.

Clean out your closets and bring sneakers, casual shoes, dress shoes, or sandals. All shoes should be in wearable condition.

Every pair makes a difference!
