A considerable donation from the Tiger Den Diner to VFD enabled us to complete the concrete work in front of the new addition to the fire station. We appreciate Gemack Woodberry for their outstanding work.

We have had people asking what a ISO is. ISO rating (often called a Public Protection Classification or PPC) is a score from 1 to 10 assigned to fire departments by the Insurance Services Office to measure their ability to suppress fires. A Class 1 rating represents superior fire protection, while Class 10 indicates the department did not meet minimum standards. Insurance companies use these scores to help set premiums, with lower scores (1–4) generally leading to lower insurance costs.

City of Clarksville Fire Department
Office of the Fire Chief

Subject: ISO Classification Improvement Announcement

I am proud to announce that the City of Clarksville Fire Department has been officially reclassified by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) as a Class 4 fire department. This marks a significant improvement from our previous Class 6 rating and reflects the continued progress, professionalism, and commitment of our department.

Out of more than 1,500 fire departments across the State of Texas, Clarksville Fire Department is now one of only 405 departments to achieve this level of classification. This accomplishment places us among a select group of departments recognized for their capabilities in fire protection, training, equipment, and response.

This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and pride demonstrated daily by the men and women of the Clarksville Fire Department. Their commitment to excellence and service to our community is what drives this department forward.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Clarksville City Council for their continued support. Their investment in our department has been instrumental in helping us improve and grow.

Additionally, we recognize that this milestone would not have been possible without the assistance of state and federal grant funding, which has allowed us to enhance our equipment, training, and overall readiness.

This accomplishment is something our entire community can be proud of, and we remain committed to continuing to improve and provide the highest level of fire protection services possible.

Respectfully,

Chief Wesley Sargent
City of Clarksville Fire Department

Keeping Red River County Ready đźš’

Part of our crew made the trip up to Red River County to perform preventative maintenance on Clarksville Fire Rescue’s fleet of commercial chassis fire apparatus. In one efficient visit, we knocked out Engine-1, Engine-2, and Rescue-1—getting their fleet dialed in and ready for the next call.

We truly appreciate the opportunity to serve your department and help keep your apparatus response-ready.

Our mobile PM service is built to minimize downtime and maximize readiness. By bringing our certified EVTs directly to you, we keep your trucks in service longer and your crews focused on what matters most—protecting your community.

Experience matters. Reliability matters. And we’re here to deliver both.
