GHDC Youth Enpowerment Program students engaged in learning about the Harlem Renaissance. The objective is to learn about social ,cultural and political circumstances which gave rise to the Harlem Renaissance. They also learned about the influences that inspired the work of Harlem Renaissance’s artists and musicians. After viewing pictures during this time period students were given the opportunities to create their own Harlem Renaissance inspired work. Great work guys! You rock!!!
