Well folks the outcome of the special city council meeting tonight was eventful and it seemed that the outcome had been determined before the meeting even began. Chief Mark Gable and SGT Goodson we’re both terminated and given dishonorable discharges for their service to the City of Clarksville. I “Chief Mark Gable” would like to thank the two council members that had mine and SGT Goodsons back throughout this fiasco. Thank you to Lyntrevion G Scott, and Mr. Ellis it was my honor to protect and serve your Wards and the citizens from all the other words in Clarksville.

To the citizens of Clarksville, I implore you to get involved in your city government. It is time for a change and the only way to stop what happened to me and SGT Goodson I’d you the citizens to step up and run against the sitting council members and to vote them out of office. There have been to many times that certain people have ran unopposed and got to keep their seat on the council, this is why things stay the same and never get any better for the city. God bless the citizens that supported me as Chief and SGT Goodson and for the ones that sit at the high table that were against us, well KARMA has a way of coming around to all of us and all I can say is “Bless Your Heart “ for the things that have happened to me and Jerry A. Goodson

...the Clarksville Police Department is very proud of one of our own who wasn't mentioned, Officer James Melton!

Officer Melton was on duty when the tornado hit, and found himself right in the middle of it while on patrol. After the tornado moved through, Officer Melton was instrumental in canvassing the city for damage to infrastructure/blocked roadways/people trapped inside homes that took storm damage.

We are highly grateful there were no fatalities or injuries in this storm. Officer Melton was with the city crews while trees and debris were cleared. Thank you, Officer Melton!

A tornado was spotted on the ground a few miles south of Bogata tracking north.

Folks in the Clarksville area are encouraged to seek shelter in a hardened structure and bring all pets inside.

The Zion Traveler's Baptist Church and the McKenzie Memorial Methodist Church are open for folks seeking a sturdy shelter.

Tune in to your local media for more storm information.
