Looking for something fun to do tomorrow, March 19? Come to this free indoor event at Springfield Oaks Activity Center from 4:30-6:30. There will be a bounce house, fossil hunt, photo booth, food, and so much more! Open to all ages.

Clarkston Elementary was so lucky to have Author Roger Hess visit as part of their March is Reading Month activities. Roger currently has three books in his line-up: Tiger Stadium Time Machine, Freaked Out at Wrigley Field, and 3000 Feet Over Lambeau, and is working on his 4th. Thank you, Roger, for visiting and providing books to the classrooms.

On Thursday, March 5th, IB1 (11th-grade) Literature students participated in the annual TOK Exhibition, a culminating event that challenges them to explore big questions about how we know what we know. Each of the 99 participating students selected a thought-provoking question and chose three meaningful objects to help illustrate and justify their response. They presented their ideas to peers, staff, and other students, engaging in thoughtful dialogue and offering each other both verbal and written feedback. It was a powerful display of critical thinking, communication, and reflection!

Ms. Lulianelli, Ms. Allen, and Mrs. Kroll developed an exciting day of Air Pressure demonstrations for their CHS Physical Science students. Students were exposed to a variety of phenomena-based science concepts, which helped them visualize the air pressure laws they were learning about in their physical science class. Not only were marshmallows and shaving cream expanded, but minds as well.
