On June 2, 2026, the City of Clarkston proudly celebrated a significant milestone as Chief James Bullock was officially sworn in as the City’s new Chief of Police.

Community leaders, elected officials, family members, friends, and residents gathered at City Hall to welcome Chief Bullock and mark the beginning of a new chapter for the Clarkston Police Department. The ceremony reflected our community’s shared commitment to public safety, service, and strengthening the relationships between law enforcement and the residents we serve.

We extend our congratulations to Chief Bullock and look forward to his leadership, vision, and dedication as he leads the department into the future.

🚧 Roadway Improvement Alert 🚧

Beginning June 15, crews will be re-striping North Indian Creek Drive and Montreal Road, while asphalt patching and resurfacing will take place on East Ponce De Leon Avenue through June 16.

Expect one-lane traffic and delays in work zones. Please allow extra travel time, use caution, and follow directions from flaggers and traffic personnel.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the safety and quality of our roads.

The City of Clarkston Parks & Recreation Department is proud to partner with Clarkston First Baptist Church and the Veterans and Community Outreach Foundation (VCOF) to offer the Clarkston Community Youth Summer Basketball Camp for youth ages 7–17!
